A lot of space is available in the museum for an event, as long as you don’t mind a cuddly audience!
The Bear in Mine’d museum and shop areas are available for hire, for groups and meetings. We are delighted to offer this space to those who will appreciate it, and for whom the surroundings, the teds, and the ambience, will be beneficial.
We can clear the Shop tables to the side, and there is also space within the Museum that can be cleared.
The space is available to be hired on days which the museum is not open (Mondays and Tuesdays) and after regular closing hours (normally 5pm).
Cost is by donation to the museum, to cover electricity, and staff time.
Facilities
Hirers would be able to use the toilets (including disabled and baby-change facilities), the kitchen with fridge and kettle. We have plug points, and wifi which guests could use.
